European inspired wine bar located in Hayes Valley serving new & old world wines both classic & natural.

Birba Wine Bar is located in Hayes Valley, San Francisco. We are a cozy, laid-back wine bar with intimate seating and delicious food and drinks. Our patio and parklets offer an oasis from the chaos of the city, where we provide a sanctuary to truly relax and enjoy the company of friends.

World traveled owner, Angela Valgiusti, has spent over a decade as a sommelier and restaurant manager in SF. She opened Birba which means “little troublemaker” in the spring of 2015 and now is happy to offer both al-fresco dining and retail wine for the road.
